Dr Wang specialises in research on thermo-mechanical coupling behaviours of rock materials under conditions that characterise the deep rock mass engineering, construction and monument fires. His researh interests include topics ranging from thermo-hydro-mechanical couplings in rocks, to continuum and discontinuum numerical modeling, and to deep geological storage, geothermal exploitation, etc.
