Fused filament fabrication (FFF) is one of the most widely used additive manufacturing technologies, but its mechanical properties are difficult to compare with those manufactured by traditional means. With the expansion of application fields, it is urgent to improve the mechanical properties of FFF products. This research area proposes a new method to improve the forming quality of FFF products by using vibration. Relevant experimental samples and FFF process are taken as the research object, and the mechanism of the new method to improve the mechanical properties of FFF products as well as the corresponding theoretical analysis and experimental testing are studied. This research area ultimately serves to improve the forming quality and mechanical performance of FFF products, and also provides technical support for the promotion and application of vibration in the field of additive manufacturing.
