Dr. Jianchang Li，
PhD., Professor/Vice Director
Dr. Li was born in Hebei  province of China. He obtained BS and MS degrees in  subject of Vacuum Science and Technology at Northeastern University  in 1994 and 1997, respectively. His Ph.D degree is majored in Physical  Electronics received from Peking   University in July 2000. After  a year postdoctoral research at City University of Hong Kong, he joined the University of Alabama as a postdoctoral fellow and  worked there for 3 years. Then he spent about 4 years on research projects of  molecular electronics and nanoelectronics at the University  of Chicago and University of Melbourne,  respectively. Currently, he is the vice director and   professor of the Vacuum and Fluid Engineering Center of Northeastern  University. His research interests are on solid state thin films, vacuum  technology and molecular electronics.
