REN Tao's Information in English
 
REN Tao was born in 1980 in China and received the PhD degree from Northeastern University in control theory and control engineering in 2007. He is currently a professor in software college, Northeastern University. He is responsible for 12 academic research projects. In addition, he has published more than 30 high qualified academic papers in several high-ranking journals or conferences (13 paper were published by SCI indexed Journal). Furthermore, he has received “Chinese People’s Liberation Army Science and Technology Progress Award” twice and several other academic awards. Currently, he supervises 3 foreign students (1 PhD Candidate and 2 postgraduates)
 
His main research interests include but are not limited to:
 
1 Complex network research (Synchronization control algorithm, Circuit design, Numerical simulation),
 
2 Intelligent optimization algorithm (Now our proposed optimization algorithms are better than the one from IBM),
 
3 The cooperation between UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) and the intelligent vehicle.
