Prof. Lingyu Wang is now with the State Key Laboratory of Rolling and Automation (RAL), Northeastern University after a 4-year post-doctoral role in the same institute. Before joining NEU-RAL, he received his PhD at Monash University in 2020. Dr. Wang’s research covers the phase transformation and mechanical behavior of advanced high strength steels (AHSS), with special interests in martensite and martensite-containing grades of AHSS such as press hardening and Q&P steels. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Acta Materialia, Scripta Materialia, Science and Journal of Materials Science & Technology.
