• Abstract:Regional architecture creation is an effective design methodology of maintaining building cultural diversity and promoting the regional architectural culture. This paper analyzes the current situation and problems about the creation theory research and practice of regional architecture creation , puting forw ard that seize the urban culture traits is one of the effective m ethods of regional architecture creation. This paper then analyzes the urban culture characteristic of Shenyang, points out that the industrial culture , Manchu culture and revolutionary culture are the three im portant starting point of regional architecture creation in Shenyang.
