About

I am an Associate Professor and doctoral supervisor at Northeastern University. I received my PhD from the Australian National University in 2019 and subsequently worked as a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney. My work sits at the intersection of orthopaedics, medical imaging, surgical decision-making, and artificial intelligence, advancing precision medicine through multidisciplinary collaboration. I have close to a decade of research experience in these areas.

Research Focus

• AI-driven radiomics and intelligent image analysis

• Computer-assisted & image-guided surgery / surgical navigation

• Medical 3D printing and patient-specific solutions

• Translational pipelines from algorithm to bedside

Preferred backgrounds include medical imaging/radiology, biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, intelligent science & technology, data science/big data, clinical medicine, software engineering (UG), and industrial design (UG).

• Grants: Principal Investigator of 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project and 1 LiaoningProvince Natural Science General Project; 2 Major Equipment grants; multiple industry-funded projects.

• Patents: 14 patent applications (domestic and international), 3 granted.

• Awards: Second Prize, Liaoning Postdoctoral Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition; Best Experimental Paper Award, Australian Orthopaedic Association (AOA), etc.
