He Ma, Ph.D., is a Professor and Vice Dean of the College of Medicine and Bioinformatics Engineering, Northeastern University, as well as a doctoral supervisor. He also serves as a Visiting Researcher at the Suzhou Research Institute of the National University of Singapore. He received his Bachelor's degree (Honor Class) in Computer Science and Technology from Northeastern University in 2008, and his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science, National University of Singapore in 2014.

He holds concurrent academic positions including Deputy Director of the Engineering Research Center of Medical Imaging and Intelligent Analysis (Ministry of Education), Vice President of Liaoning Translational Medicine Research Association, and Member of the Liaoning Provincial Expert Group on Science and Technology Ethics Governance. His main research interests include medical artificial intelligence and medical image processing. He is a member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, and acts as a reviewer for numerous domestic and international journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging (TMI), IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (JBHI), and IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME). In terms of scientific research, he has presided over and participated in more than 10 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 80 academic papers, been granted 10 invention patents, and obtained 8 software copyrights.
