Dr. YanQing Wang is a Research Fellow in the Department of Science at Northeastern University. Main area of research are structural dynamics of aero-engines, design of micro aerial vehicles, and intelligent robotics.
Prof. Wang has a strong background in the field of nonlinear dynamics, he is Deputy Director of the Nonlinear Vibration Professional Committee , the council member of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering (CSVE) and Dynamic Load and Design Professional Committee of CSVE, Young Editorial Board member for "Acta Mechanica Sinica", "Journal of Vibration Engineering", and "Journal of Dynamics and Control"，the member of the Modal Analysis and Testing Professional Committee at NEU, he currently directs the Key Laboratory of Structural Dynamics of Liaoning Province, serves as Secretary-General of the Liaoning Provincial Mechanics Society.
Prof. Wang has led over 10 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 120+ SCI journals. His accolades include: Liaoning Natural Science Award (Second Class, First Rank), Xu Zhilun National Mechanics Educator Award, Highly Cited Chinese Researcher (Elsevier), Global Top 2% Scientist (Stanford), and selection for elite talent programs (Liaoning Xingliao Talent Plan; Hundred-Thousand Talents Project - Tier A). He has also received the Outstanding Science & Technology Worker of Liaoning Province (13th Term), May Fourth Medal of NEU, and multiple teaching excellence awards.
