- Abstract:In the policy about elderly life support in Japan, there are various policies such as safety check and food delivery service by welfare commissioners, home-visit care, day service, short stay service and admission for elderly care facilities. The elderly life support plays a leading role of public care. In this study, I argue about elderly life support and dwelling environment in rural village as a case study of Touge Village in Monzen-cho, Wajima City in Ishikawa that is a depopulated area, rural village. The field work of this study was carried out in 2009 and 2015, in order to make clear the content of elderly life support network and the state of their dwelling environment, as well as the changes as time goes on. And it was analyzed from three attributes, living support resource, mental support resource and physical support resource.
