- Abstract:Based on behavior observation method, and taking WanLiutang park and Bainiao park as location, this study investigates the recreation behavior of the aged in summer and winter. from the active participants of the temporal variation and use of facilities form, the activity content, activity tendency, activity scale, and its dependence on sites and facilities of the aged in open parks are discussed, which is under the influence of weather-climate and time obviously. For an aging society background, the conclusion may be the optimization of design and management of urban park space benefit to its efficiency.
