He is also a member of the Software Engineering Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Executive director of the Teaching and Research Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, the executive director of the University Quality Education Research Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education, and the vice chairman of the Liaoning Branch of the Laboratory Research Branch of the Chinese Association of Higher Education. As the project leader, he has won the National Teaching Achievement Second Prize twice. Two courses have been rated as National Quality Courses. Moreover, he has published more than 200 academic papers. He has been a highly cited scholar by Elsevier in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
