Song'an Hou is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the National Frontier Science Center for Industrial Intelligence and System Optimization, Northeastern University. He received his B.S. degree in Engineering Mechanics from Beihang University and his Ph.D. degree in General Mechanics and Fundamental Mechanics from Beihang University.

Research Interests:

His research focuses on neural dynamics and brain-inspired intelligence. Centered on dynamic problems in brain diseases and cognitive functions, he conducts research on neural network modeling, dynamic analysis, and neuromodulation methods. His research interests include the seizure onset and propagation mechanisms, dynamic feature analysis, and neuromodulation of epileptic neural networks; the mechanisms of spatial cognition, memory, and navigation involving coordinated activity across multiple brain regions; and the application of related models to unmanned vehicle control. He has published 13 SCI-indexed papers in journals such as Science China Technological Sciences and Applied Mathematics and Mechanics.
