Chong Yu is an Associate Professor and a Ph.D./Master's Supervisor at the National Frontier Science Center for Industrial Intelligence and Systems Optimization. She received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, USA, in 2023. From 2023 to 2026, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati, USA. Her research interests include trustworthy artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, intelligent communications and networking, medical artificial intelligence, and intelligent autonomous systems. Her research focuses on developing theories and methods for secure, reliable, and efficient artificial intelligence and communication networks, and advancing their innovative applications in key areas such as cybersecurity, smart healthcare, the Internet of Vehicles, and autonomous driving. She has published more than 30 papers in leading international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), and IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC).

Undergraduate students are welcome to participate in research projects, innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and capstone or graduation projects. Students who are interested in research or graduation projects are encouraged to contact me in advance, so that sufficient time can be allocated to understanding potential research topics, building the necessary background knowledge, and gradually becoming involved in the group's research activities.
